In case you missed it, New York Fashion Week: The Shows is officially upon us.
And what better way to kick off all it’s glory than with an epic party hosted by E! Entertainment, Elle and IMG.
On Wednesday, The Knockturnal was of course on the scene for the VIP bash; held at The Pool lounge inside the architecturally renowned Seagrams Building on Park Ave. Champagne was flowing, sliders and avocado toast were passed, and desserts like mini brownies and ice cream cones made a late night cameo.
Speaking of late night cameos … Nicki Minaj casually strolled into the party later in the night wearing a yellow tie blazer, knee high leather boots, and of course rocking her new bright pink hair. And because, she’s Nicki Minaj, the DJ promptly began to play the Starships singer’s music exclusively. Luckily everyone in the room could beez in the trap as well as the next. We’re hopeful Minaj was proud.
Throughout the night, Maybelline was on hand providing guests makeup touch-ups using this fall’s hottest colors. By the way, it’s safe to say a nude matte is here to stay at least through this season. TRESemmé hosted a photo booth complete with a wind machine – because perfect hair is a must during fashion week.
And with IMG as a co-host there was no shortage of supermodels and super-modelizers. Coco Rocha, Ping Hue, Shanina Shaik, Olivia Culpo, Daniela Braga, Nadine Leopold to name a few statue-esque attendees. As well as Westworld’s Angela Sarafyan, Ashlee Simpson & Evan Ross, Karrueche Tran and her man Victor Cruz (hand in hand we might add), Adam Stotsky, President E! Entertainment; Nina Garcia, Editor-in-Chief, ELLE; and Ivan Bart, President IMG Models.
