Last Thursday, January 26th, Ford hosted ‘Life Hack Academy Live’ at the Altman Building in New York City. With guest and speakers ranging from Tia Mowry, to Deb Perelman of “Smitten Kitchen,” and Brian Kelly of “The Points Guy.”

Ford unveiled its new game plan to get your new year off to a great start. The new Ford EcoSport, is a subcompact SUV that allows you to crack the code to a successful new year with its first compactable SUV.The New SUV, can help you break habitual habits like lateness, with a compartment for everything, you’ll never run late again.

Throughout the night, virtual test drives were offered for the giant still vehicle parked in the center of The Altman Building. Once inside, I was able to experience the perfect mix of spaciousness meets luxury.

All across the room life hacks for everything from travel to living conditions sprawled the wall. One giant plaque above the virtual test drive car read off a list of helpful travel hacks:

“Travel hacks can help you maximize your getaway experiences while minimizing the cost and hassle. And if the open-road is calling your name, the first-ever Ford EcoSport is up for the adventure. SYNC 3 is the ultimate travel essential, allowing you to enhance your road trip on the go, seamlessly integrating Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. And to make sure you get where you’re going, Waze’s traffic and navigation app is now integrated, allowing you to control it using voice commands and the 8’ touch screen. Time to go to that place you always wanted to go.”

While other banners and signs included ways the vehicle could improve quality of life:

“Hack your small space. Most of us have more things than we actually need, without enough space to accommodate it all. These hacks can help you declutter your space-and life- so you can focus on living more, with less. When it comes to maximizing space, the EcoSport offers 60/40 fold-flat rear seat backs, so you can stow whatever you need-big or small.”

The list of helpful hacks and tips grew extensively throughout the night. The mixed crowds of influencers and celebrities had a nights worth of mingling and hopping from station to station for an endless wealth of tricks, while the night ended with a surprise performance from Skylar Grey.
