Florida-native Keedron Bryant’s original song, “I Just Wanna Live”, became viral last month after he posted a clip of him singing it in response to the recent cases of police brutality that Black Americans have faced.
The song, originally written by his mother Johnetta Bryant, caught the attention of many, including LeBron James, Oprah, and Janet Jackson. He has also appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show, CNN, and Good Morning America.
The 12-year-old has since been signed to Warner Records and released the single that has become an anthem for change through the label. All profits from the single are being donated to the NAACP. The official music video for the track has also accumulated more than 600k+ views on YouTube.
