YouTube kicked off the summer with their Sips on the Pier happy hour event for content creators who are changing the face of the internet.
The lovely event surrounded the celebration of rising YouTube stars such as Mai Pham, Evelyn Ha, JENerationDIY, and Ashley Alexander. DJ and podcast host, Nyla Symone also joined the event, as she filled the intimate and friendly atmosphere with some vibey music.
During the panel, which Symone also hosted, the content creators spoke about their journey to making such a huge impact as YouTubers. Many of them shared that they started the platform at a young age, which allowed them to enjoy the fun of making videos, which turned into a passion. But throughout building their brand and learning lessons through their passions, the influential YouTube It Girls expressed how consistency was the key to getting to the heightened place that they are within their YouTube career.
The motivating discussion definitely had listeners on their toes in wanting to know how these YouTube gurus became so successful.
The Knockturnal had the opportunity to discuss more content related topics with JENerationDIY. It’s safe to say that her fans are in for a treat for the summer, as she revealed that a new ‘Glow Up Project’ is on the way, as well as new music, and more content to come since her move to London.
