In the highly anticipated new Apple TV+ drama Your Friends & Neighbors, suburban boredom is shattered completely. In this affluent community, residents believe they have little to worry about—until everything changes.

When Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Jon Hamm) loses his job, he becomes obsessed with making fast money, turning to theft and exploiting his insider knowledge of his neighbors’ valuables, travel plans, and daily routines. A recent divorcee, Coop also struggles to maintain a civil relationship with his ex-wife, Melanie (Amanda Peet), and their two teenage children, Tori (Isabel Marie Gravitt) and Hunter (Donovan Colan). The situation is further complicated by Melanie’s affair with Coop’s former best friend, Nick (Mark Tallman), who now seeks to take on a fatherly role in the kids’ lives—much to their discomfort.

As Coop tries to keep up the illusion of his once-lavish lifestyle, he begins a secret affair with Samantha Levitt (Olivia Munn), a woman navigating a messy divorce of her own. Their relationship remains hidden, as Samantha’s husband is part of the same social circle.

The series also stars Lena Hall as Coop’s younger sister, Ali, and Hoon Lee and Eunice Bae as Barney and Grace Choi, mutual friends of Coop and Melanie who hold opposing views on the reasons behind their failed marriage.

The Knockturnal spoke with members of the cast to discuss the drama, scandal, and intrigue of the show’s first season.

Your Friends & Neighbors premieres with its first two episodes on Friday, April 11, exclusively on Apple TV+.
