Jean spoke about Combs stating, “I know Puffy very well, and my memories of Puffy is he’s always a straight-up stand-up dude. I mean we’ve came up in the business since we were kids and Puff is a great inspiration to me. There’s a philosopher called Confucius who said ‘It ain’t what you do when you fall but what you do when you get back up’ So one thing I will say about Puff is it don’t matter if you had a bad day yesterday you have to brush it off and be ready for today.” Jozzy who is an singer-songwriter signed to Combs’ label Love Records talked about advice she’s received from her mentor saying, “Don’t overthink, and do it with your heart that’s it. [We] being songwriters we’re chasing hits all the time and sometimes you can chase and lose the soul in the music.”
Bryant Gumbal said about Jabbar, “I have alot of fond memories of Kareem. I was first exposed to him when he was a point guard at UCLA. I was also working out in LA when Kareem was a Laker. I’ve known and admired him for a long time.”
