Season two of Giants is almost here!
Insecure‘s Issa Rae and Empire‘s Jussie Smollett have teamed up to produce web series Giants, written and directed by James Bland. The show follows trio of millennials struggling to get it together as they navigate life’s ups and downs in Los Angeles.
We were invited into an intimate table reading at Youtube Space LA get an inside look into the new season by the cast and creators themselves. Viewer’s can look forward to Malachi ( James Bland), Journee (Vanessa Baden) and Ade (Sean Samuels) all living together under one roof after a series of unfortunate events.
Viewers can also expect deeper insight into what Malachi has been running from all this time as the show digs deeper into his mysterious his past. Journee continues to fight her battle with depression as she makes new discoveries in both her love life and career, Ade makes profound discoveries in his personal life as he continues to come to terms with his sexuality with the help of the handsome Kwasi (Terrence Terrell).
Of course Giants season 2 will continue to reflect the social and economical issues and has even partnered with LeadersUp a full service talent and recruitment and development organization specializing in helping businesses connect with the generation of talent, tackling the issue of youth unemployment.
Giants season two will air later on this year.
