This fall the ‘Training Day’ co-stars perform in the new Antoine Fuqua film.

September 23, 2016, The Magnificent Seven, remake of 1960 film by the same title, will be released in cinemas nationwide. The Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures’ and Columbia Pictures’ production stars Denzel Washington (Training Day, American Gangster), Ethan Hawke (Training Day, Boyhood), Chris Pratt (Her, Jurassic World), Vincent D’Onforio (Jurassic World, The Break-Up), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (Cake), Byung-Hun Lee (RED 2) and Martin Sensmeier (Salem).

The film directed by Antoine Fuqua with the screenplay is by Nic Pizzolatto and Richard Wenk and produced by Roger Birnbaum and Todd Black tells a classic western tale. With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns – Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier).  As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.

Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke proved their on-screen chemistry with unforgettable performances in the 2001 Training Day, and the choice of their partners in crime in The Magnificent Seven is keeping our expectations high. Is it September yet?
