Kendrick Lamar teams up with Don Cheadle for the ‘DNA.’ visual.
The Track is featured on the rapper’s latest album release, DAMN.. The video starts with Cheadle playing a detective interrogating Lamar, who is cuffed up and locked down to an interrogation machine. When the same machine is switched on, Cheadle reacts as if he is reborn again, this time as Lamar. He begins rapping along to Lamar’s raw lyrics. They go face to face, back and forth mimicking each other’s movements until Cheadle eventually lets Lemar go out into the streets.
The second half is filled with Lamar’s new alter ego, ‘Kung Fu Kenny’, playing dice in the streets and running around with his friends. He relentlessly delivers the rest of the lines in the song with a shift in clips. Watch the video to the song below.
