Global group powerhouse VCHA is back – but this time, we’re catching up on what the talented six have been up to since our last interview with these “Girls of The Year.”
Since our last chat, VCHA has been busy conquering stages worldwide! They’ve opened for K-Pop visionaries TWICE, who recently just released their EP With YOU-th and title track “One Spark,” on their “READY TO BE” ONCE MORE tour, lighting up stages in Mexico City, São Paulo and New York City. The excitement continues on March 16th with a special one-night-only special performance at Las Vegas’ monumental Allegiant Stadium, which holds up to 70,000 fans.
Fresh off electrifying crowds by the thousands and topping the US Billboard’s “Hot Trending Songs” chart, VCHA squeezed in some time to chat with us. VCHA dove deep into their emotions about their upcoming Las Vegas show and their latest single, Only One, comes with a bonus track, “Favorite Girl.”
VCHA’s latest single, Only One, is a feel-good pop anthem with infectious choreography guaranteed to get you moving. Teasers showcase a bright, bubblegum pastel-barbie concept, highlighting each member’s unique talent. This infectious track promises to follow in the footsteps of their other innovative songs — proving to be our ‘favorite girls’ once again! Plus, they’ll be sharing all about their exciting journeys since we last spoke!
[The Knockturnal] It’s been a crazy five months since we last chatted! Debuting, coming back with new music, and performing in front of thousands – has this been anything like you envisioned when you were first chosen to be a part of VCHA?
LEXI: Honestly, this is more than I ever expected! It’s a dream come true. I’m so grateful that I get to experience something so significant in this journey of being a VCHA member.
Kendall: The past five months as VCHA have definitely exceeded my expectations. I don’t think I ever had any expectations set, but whatever expectations I may have had were definitely exceeded. Being able to accomplish so much like debuting, already having a comeback and to be the opening act for TWICE at their concert were such amazing feats that I’m just incredibly grateful to be a part of this journey.
Naturally, with VCHA having opened for K-Pop superstars TWICE on their recent tour, we couldn’t resist asking the group about that experience.
[The Knockturnal] The last time we spoke, you guys expressed your love for TWICE. Now, you’ve been opening for them at massive stadiums – like the upcoming Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas! (Congratulations by the way! So proud of you all!) How surreal is this experience?
Savanna: This experience has been so incredible for us! Performing in front of such big audiences for the first time has been a mixture of many emotions, as well as such a great learning experience. It is an honor to be opening for such huge artists like TWICE, and we thank everyone who is involved and made this possible for us!
KG: Words cannot describe how grateful we are to be given the opportunity to open for TWICE. We’ve always looked up to TWICE, as they really inspire us, so being able to open for them in such a big stadium is a dream come true and a moment we’ll never forget. We’ve practiced hard and we’re ready to give it our best!

To keep their nerves in check, VCHA conquers these massive stages by having their own special pre-concert rituals.
[The Knockturnal] How has VCHA been preparing to take on the stage? Do you have any special pre-concert rituals to get yourselves focused?
Savanna: Overall, we have been working super hard to perform the absolute best we can so we don’t let anyone down! As for any pre-concert rituals, we normally take the time while doing vocal warm-ups to really focus and get into what I would call “performance mode.” Along with that, we also will gather around and do a “1,2,3 VCHA” chant right before we get on stage, and that really pumps us up for the performance!
Alongside the warm-ups and chant, Kendall highlighted, “When it comes to performing as a VCHA, our goal is to have fun onstage. We very much believe in practicing hard and trusting your practice so we put in a lot of work before performance day, allowing us to enjoy the moments with the audience when onstage.”
Beyond exciting on stage performances, VCHA has been creating engaging content for their fans, VLIGHTS. Their recent projects include the “XO Call Me” special video, filmed across LA and the “VCHA-Log” documenting their travels in Mexico and Brazil.
Speaking of their adventures, we asked VCHA about their most memorable experiences. While seeing their fans worldwide is a constant highlight, they also treasure embracing the scenery and immersing themselves in new cultures.
KG: We have a very busy schedule when traveling, but we try our best to visit different places and experience the cultures, which we’re so happy to be able to do, and we hope to travel to more places we haven’t been. But one unforgettable experience we had in both Mexico and Brazil was seeing the audience for the first time during our opening for TWICE. The support from the fans was more than we could’ve ever expected, so we thank them for giving us such a warm welcome.
Camila: There’s so many special memories and moments that we’ve experienced together while traveling and filming our content. Just the fact that we were able to travel to Mexico and Brazil and experience a little bit of their culture was truly amazing. We loved the food, the energy, the scenery, everything was mesmerizing. A very special memory that I always keep in my mind is when we would hang out at night in our hotel rooms, laughing about silly things and enjoying some delicious traditional desserts from Mexico and Brazil.
Let’s delve deeper into VCHA’s latest release, “Only One.” As VCHA continues to refine their unique sound with each comeback, we asked them what sets this single apart from the others.
Kendall: “We are continuing to develop and experiment with new styles with every comeback, and Only One perfectly embodies that. Like “Girls of the Year,” Only One is a high-energy and energetic song, but with its own distinctive sound. Only One brings back the bright and youthful songs of our pre-debut era, such as “Go Getter” and “Y.O.Universe” but even brighter and with a slightly more mature appearance that was found through “Girls of the Year.”
[The Knockturnal] The teasers for Only One give off a “pastel-bubblegum-barbie-pop” vibe. How would you all personally describe the overall concept for this comeback?
Lexi: It’s just as you described it! The concept for this comeback is super bright and energetic. The set itself felt like a doll house and we were the dolls! There were some fun acting scenes that we did and it was so entertaining because we got to be our true teenage selves by having fun with each other. It was so much fun being able to prepare a concept like this, so we really hope everyone enjoys it!
In the spirit of Only One, we threw VCHA a curveball: if they could perform only one song from their entire discography for the rest of their lives, which track would they choose?
KG: This is such a hard question because all of our songs have special meaning to us. But if I had to choose I would go with our debut song “Girls of the Year” because this song is about our journey together as a group to achieving our dreams. Every time we perform this song, it reminds me of how proud I am of all of us for getting this far.
To wrap up our chat with the trendsetting VCHA, we gave them the chance to deliver a special message directly to their dedicated fans, VLIGHTS.
