The Montreal-based producer unveiled a flash game to promote his upcoming album, 99.9%. It’s a side-scrolling game with the same concept as Flappy Bird, a mobile game that was popular in 2013. You tap the screen to control the motion of a plane, avoiding staggered obstacles like volcanoes, swords, and palm trees as you collect coins, crowns, and marijuana leaves for points. At 100 points, you will have unlocked the bonus track!
Upon completion, enter your e-mail to subscribe to Kaytranada’s website and receive the .zip file for his bonus track, “Nobody Beats the Kay.”
99.9% is currently available for pre-order and will launch on May 6th through XL. “Bus Ride” and “Glowed Up” (featuring Anderson Paak), two tracks from the album, have already been released. Kaytranada is also on an international tour, so check his upcoming tour dates for your city on his official website.
