After settling in you have a scientific evaluation of your current health and official weight by a training expert. Measuring your needs they help establish a proper meal plan to start you on your journey to a healthy life.
My meal plan consisted of well-balanced and well-portioned servings. Three meals and two delicious snacks equaled 1250 calories. Food is prepared by a skilled private chef. Never once do you feel hungry during your time at Fit Farm. Considering the epic workout schedule it is hard to believe, but the truth is shockingly delightful.

I was nervous about the classes being offered, especially with a prior knee injury that had been bothering me recently – most likely due to stress on my body from weight gain.
I love the way trainers were so qualified they knew exactly how to modify my movements without aggravating my injury. The beauty of Fit Farm is anyone can do it no matter what level you are at. Beginners in classes did things at a comfortable pace, while the athletes in the combined workouts were at a high proficiency. None of that mattered. It was a joy to see everyone working out as a team smiling and sweating at once. The room created a new increased will power for all in attendance.
Zones for workouts were incredible. During the winter months, days start with a cardio blast in the indoor gym followed by breakfast. The day continues with a dedicated session to gain better mobility and consists of instructions for how to do proper, crucial foam rolling and stretching. Next up comes a powerhouse workout that is enthralling like boot camp in a fantastic barn converted into a world-class gym. Two hours later you are off to lunch. Never has a meal tasted so good. But as hungry as you are it is truly fuel for your fire.
Following is a next round class session with trainers and incredible experts. On a daily basis they teach you great skills from healthy eating tips to cooking classes. After you workout again with an outdoor activity such as a bike ride around the farm or a power walk on the grounds (During warmer months there are obstacle courses that teams can workout in as well). A snack is had and then you are at it again before dinner at 6 pm.
Truth be told it is an exhausting day. On average you are at intense calorie burn for 6 to 7 hours in a 24-hour period. All levels sit in the on meal sessions and talk about the concentrated workouts, but no one seems to complain. They instead are full of joy. Unlike other farms that offer limited soft workouts, Fit Farm focuses on the art and the science of a true day of fitness. You are tired, but you are euphoric and feel amazing knowing that you accomplished so much.
Some people mingle in the beautiful main hall after a long day and watch films in the incredible movie theater, while others sit in a massage chair in the lounge and kick their feet up. The last snack at 8 pm is savored and then a night of sleep is relished.
The cycle starts again in the morning. You may be sore, but it goes away within 15 minutes of the first-morning class as you realize that this is what it takes to change your life. After a long weekend of three days at this pace, I had never felt more elated.
A weigh-in before leaving produced weight loss measured in a highly-scientific method. Even more importantly was body fat percentage had decreased. I dropped four pounds and several inches. But, weight on a scale is not as important as percentages you come to learn on the farm. The overall experience is unique and worth every second you spend there.
