Vitaminwater and The FADER have partnered once again to present their #uncapped, a series of concerts dedicated to supporting emerging musical talent and “hydrating the hustle” of today’s breakthrough artists.
The series, which is now its 5th year, kicked off at a pop up location in NYC’s meatpacking district on September 29th and featured performances by Sevyn Streeter, JoJo, Willow Smith and more.
The Knockturnal was on the scene for night two of the 5 day pop up to catch Def Jam artist Alessia Cara’s performance and let’s just say we get why everyone from Taylor Swift to Drake is giving the budding singer their stamp of approval. The Canadian born singer treated fans to an incredible set that started with her songs “Seventeen” and “Scars To Your Beautiful.” She then did covers of “Sweater Weather” and James Brown’s “I Feel Good” before ending her set with her groundbreaking song “Here.” Alessia Cara rocked a black floral top over a black t-shirt paired with grey jeans.
Attendees sipped on Vitamin Water cocktails like Squeeze Me Back and Anniversary Punch, which were basically Vitamin Water and Tito’s vodka. There was also a photobooth and a design your own shirt booth that guests could pick up after the concert was over. Passion Pit and DJ Austin Millz treated attendees to amazing DJ sets.
Hats off to Vitamin Water and The FADER for five years of supporting rising stars.
