UGG’s Neumels have become one of the most popular shoes now that we are heading in towards winter.
The brand famous for their fur lined boots has a new style that has become a major seller across the nation. The Neumel has a tradition shoe structure, with a lace up front, exposed stitching and the height only reaches the ankle. Exposed shearling, a popular trend in winter months, is present at the top of shoe and along the tongue.
Lined with UGGpure wool the comfort of the shoe is one of the major characteristics that appeals to customers. In a statement UGG said in the past year UGG has seen a 500 precent increase in their in their sales of Neumel to their wholesale retailers. There has also been a demand for smaller sizes, showcasing women’s desire to get a hold of the shoe as well.
Known for their comfort, warmth and luxury UGG has moved up from it’s beginnings as a niche sports boot to something warn frequently by celebrities and it appears to be sticking around according to Racked. But the brand is not only trying to remain where is is, but expand in to a lifestyle brand. There is surly more to come beyond the Neumel from UGG. President of UGG Dave Powers told Racked, “We are more than people think we are. Our biggest Hurdle is making sure that people consider us that way, as opposed to just being known for the classic boot.”
The shoes are $130 and are available on Ugg’s website and at major department stores.
