Wellness met indulgence during the luxurious prelude to the ESPYs as guests drifted throughout the space, learning about Sydenham Clinic’s personalized concierge medical services.

Among the high-wattage guests were hometown heroes and ESPY nominees from the LA Dodgers (Best Baseball Team) Hyeseong Kim and Ben Casparius, ESPY double nominee Ezra Frech, and fan-favorites like Noah Elliott and Azzi Fudd. Olympians and Paralympians — including Nick Itkin, Fred Kerley, Mallory Weggmann, and Courtney Ryan — mingled with NFL’ers like Jonathan Owens, Braden Mann, and Ronnie Stanley, and NBA/WNBA legends such as Byron Scott and Cheryl Miller. Pickleball prodigy Anna Leigh Waters and Love Island’s Austin Shepard and Jayden Ashley added a fresh pop of pop culture to the sporty mix.

The lounge, known for merging luxury with lifestyle, delivered again as guests checked out The Sleep Spa by Hästens, the iconic Swedish bedmaker with the dreamiest bedding, offered a plush taste of home luxury and a sweet stop to lie down for a moment — while REST showcased their cooling comforters from their Evercool line. Fashion and accessories included UOVO sneakers and Loungefly, the accessory brand known for its fanciful mini backpacks that celebrated fandom.

Meanwhile, Better U showcased innovative telehealth treatments including ketamine therapy, further underscoring the event’s emphasis on holistic health and longevity. Attendees checked out sips from Black Eden 1912 Bourbon, honoring the legacy of Idlewild’s African American community; and Rodeo de las Aguas, a celebrated ultra-premium tequila, with numerous gold medals of their own, and from Meta H2O, a leader in water purification.

VIP sports stars at this week’s Pre-ESPY Awards Lounge were treated to an array of gifts, including 5th Wheel scooters and e-bikes from INVANTI, wellness offerings like genetic testing from Nucleus, and handcrafted meals, smoothies, and wellness products from RightMealz. Luxury travel experiences for athletes included a trip to Fiji from Raiwasa Villas, a three-day spiritual retreat at Siddhayatan in Texas presented by the nonprofit docuseries BALANCE, and an island escape to Turks and Caicos from Sailrock Resort.
The lounge also featured bites from Ike’s Love and Sandwiches with music curated by Adam Gomez of ADM Entertainment. Talent and press were secured by Mosaic PR.

These included the Luskin Orthopedic Institute for Children, which provides expert pediatric orthopedic care regardless of financial need; the Foundation for a Drug-Free World, the largest independent nonprofit drug education program globally; and Food on Foot, a nonprofit dedicated to offering meals, clothing, life skills training, employment, and housing support to low-income residents of Los Angeles.
