Macklemore broke the awkward silence he was sitting in for the past year, with the release of “White Privilege II”. While the song wasn’t eye opening for me, I think it’s safe to say it will be exactly that for a good number of Mack’s fanbase. It’s an interesting track, especially considering Macklemore’s current status as a straight-to-radio emcee. At the very least, this is going to stir up some beneficial dialogue.
