The sweetest collaboration of darling accessories and lush silhouettes makes its way to LES!
On Wednesday, September 20th, Susan Alexandra hosted the end-of-summer event at their downtown flagship location. The eclectic storefront partnered with the Los Angeles-based fashion brand Ciao Lucia, joined by sponsors Casa Del Sol and Scars Pizza.
Susan Alexandra strives to create an inclusive and welcoming space for imagination and style. The one-of-a-kind store’s quirky and yet adorable pieces like jewelry, handbags, and bag charms, are all handmade in New York City.
“I made a laundry list of all the designers that I love and would love to host and [ones] that I feel our customers are the same, so Ciao Lucia was at the top,” says store owner Susan Korn. ”
Influenced by the nostalgia, Ciao Lucia’s designs are intended “For the girl on eternal vacation.” Founded in 2017 by Lucy Atkin, the West Coast clothing brand hopes to bring comfort and tranquility to its wearers.
It’s great to work with them (Ciao Lucia), and we’re actually making a bag together that hasn’t debuted yet, but it’s going to be a Ciao Lucia x Susan Alexandra bag,” says Korn.
