The Murder Mystery Company Hosts A Fun And Festive Dinner

Put your detective skills to the test

Have you ever been at dinner and wished that there was more excitement to your meal?  If so, then you better check out the Murder Mystery Company.  This experience combines all that you love about the movie “Clue” with the classic board game “Clue.”  What is fun about this dinner is that it is essentially a game of whodoneit where guests sit down, dine and drink, and go about collecting clues from members of the cast to figure out who committed the murder.  What’s even better about this game is that even if you have played it before, the experience is never the same with different themes each time.

When we attended our dinner, the theme for this was “A Dance With Death,” a 1950s sock hop gone terribly wrong.  They encourage guests to dress according to the theme, so our theme wasn’t hard as long as you had a pair of blue jeans and a leather jacket of sorts.  The company does a great job of selling the theme and making the dinner fun.  It isn’t some tacky dinner that tries too hard (we have been to a lot of those and thank god this wasn’t it).  As far as the food goes, the company emails guests prior to the date so guests can reserve their entrée for the night.  We chose a simple pasta Primavera, which was alright.  To be completely honest, we weren’t expecting food to blow us away but rather simple food that would complement a fun night playing detective.  And we got just that.  Without giving too much away, we will say that this dinner was an overall fun experience.  If you ever want to throw a party or just spice up your dinner plans, this dinner is definitely for you.
