Along with Tilke’s many other projects, she has created a digital short easy called “Queer Suffragist” for the Toronto/ Buffalo PBS affiliate. Aretha Franklin once famously sang about pink Cadillacs, and on Thursday (March 11th), National Geographic premiered episode one of Genius: Aretha, an eight-part limited series about the life and career of Aretha Franklin at drive-in movie theaters across the United States including in Franklin’s hometown of Detroit.
Rising actor Taj Cross made his debut in the Hulu original comedy Pen15, back in February of 2019, as the male lead Sam. Since the first season was released, the series has performed well with the critics and has garnered a devoted following. Cross’s performance as Sam has really struck a chord with audiences and he has easily become a fan favorite from the series.
