Cocktails so delicious it should be illegal
Summer is almost over and you might as well pack as many plans and events in while you can. And with labor day weekend among us, what better time to host an event than now? And part of hosting means offering all of your guests a signature cocktail. And luckily, we have the recipes you need in order to throw the perfect event.
First up we have a cocktail from Glenmorangie. Their latest creation called X by Glenmorangie, is dedicated to being the perfect drink when making a whiskey cocktail. The smoothness and sweetness from this particular whiskey is unmatched and would definitely be the perfect base for any whiskey cocktail you have in mind.
Ingredients:
- 50ml (2oz) X by Glenmorangie
- 50ml (2oz) Ginger Beer
Method: Fill a highball glass with crushed ice. Add X by Glenmorangie and ginger beer. Stir, squeeze 3 lime wedges over the drink, then use them to garnish.
Next, we have a delightful cocktail from Belvedere vodka, one of the best premium vodka brands around. This spritz cocktail is equally as refreshing as it is tasty and is the perfect choice for any outdoor event you might have planned.
Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ oz Belvedere Blackberry & Lemongrass
- ¼ oz Dry Vermouth
- 1 TSP Honey Water
- 2 oz Dry Sparkling Wine
- 2 Fresh Blackberries
- Sprig of Mint
Method: Place all ingredients in Spritz glass over cubed ice and stir gently to combine. Garnish.
And coming up is one of our favorite cocktails to make that we love to feature on our roundups. This is the La Valoma and is made with Volcan Tequila. This drink is simple to make but tastes great, making it the perfect cocktail to serve to friends.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Volcan Blanco Tequila
- ¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1.5 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
- ¾ Oz Agave Syrup
- A pinch of salt
Method: Combine Volcan Blanco, fresh lime and grapefruit juice, salt and agave syrup in a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain over ice in a highball glass. Top with soda water and garnish with a grapefruit wedge.

Los Arango La Reina
Ingredients:
- 1½ oz. Los Arango Blanco Tequila
- 4 Dashes Pink Peppercorn Tincture
- ¼ oz. Sweet Vermouth
- 2 Drops Rose Water
- ¾ oz. Dry Rosé
Method: Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake well. Rim a Nick n Nora glass with cracked pink/black peppercorn salt. Hawthorne and fine strain the cocktail into your prepped glass. Garnish with a grapefruit twist. Garnish with a grapefruit twist and salt cracked pink and peppercorn rim.
Los Arango Blanco de Blanc
Ingredients:
- 11⁄2 oz. Los Arango Blanco Tequila
- 1⁄4 oz. Blanc Vermouth
- 1 oz. Chareau Aloe Vera Liquor
- 2 Dashes Celery Bitters
- 1⁄2 oz. Lemon Oil
- Sub Lemon Juice
- Top with 4 Drops Celery Oil
Method: Combine all ingredients except for the celery oil into a cocktail shaker, shake vigorously. Fill a rocks glass with ice and Hawthorne strain the cocktail over rocks in the glass. Top off the cocktail with a few drops of celery oil and an aloe vera leaf. Garnish with an aloe vera leaf.
Los Arango Hidalgo’s Cradle
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Los Arango Reposado
- 3⁄4 oz. St. Germain
- 3⁄4 oz. Lemon Juice
- 3⁄4 oz. Agave Nectar
- 3-4 Slices Jalapeños
- Lemon Twist
Method: Lightly muddle jalapeño slices in a shaker. Add remaining ingredients and ice. Shake vigorously. Hawthorne and fine strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Los Arango El Verdito
Ingredients:
- 1 1⁄2 oz. Los Arango Blanco
- 3⁄4 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 3⁄4 oz. Ginger Liqueur
- 1 oz. Lime Juice
- 1⁄4 oz. Agave Nectar
- 1⁄4 oz. Green Chartreuse
Methods: Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake Vigorously. Strain the cocktail, garnish with candied ginger and a lime round.
Spicy Ginger Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Los Arango Blanco
- 1 ounce lime juice
- ½ ounce ginger simple syrup
- 3 slices fresh cut jalapeño
- Tajín for rim
Method: Rim your glass with Tajín.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill and combine ingredients. Fine strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish & Enjoy!
Strawberry Basil Paloma
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Los Arango Reposado
- 1 ounce grapefruit juice
- ½ ounce agave syrup
- 2 chopped strawberries
- 5 basil leaves
- Soda to top
- Smoked sea salt for rim
Method: Rim your glass with smoked sea salt. Combine all ingredients except soda in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill and combine ingredients. Fine strain into a high-ball glass over fresh ice. Top with soda Garnish & Enjoy!
