Talk about the best birthday EVER! Christian Combs, yes Puff Daddy‘s very own son recently signed to Bad Boy Records.
On April 2, Christian Combs celebrated 18th birthday and signing to one of the most successful record labels of all time.
Starting with a dollar and a dream Puffy created Bad Boy Records in 1993 with its first signees Craig Mack and the late Biggie Smalls. Puffy’s strategic marketing tools lead to the longevity of the label with various artists over the years such as Faith Evans, Total and an array of many more acts. Fast forward to today Bad Boy has the likes of French Montana holding them down and their newest member Christian.
“I’m extremely thankful for everything that God has blessed me with and I will never take it for granted. Music is something that’s been part of me my whole life.” Combs posted on Instagram.
Puffy’s mini-me is definitely in the good hands of his father’s label. The good news was officially announced on Instagram and Snapchat with Diddy’s head lining caption “NEW DEAL ALERT!!!” L.A. Reid, the CEO of Epic Records (which all Bad Boy business goes through) was also there for signing day.
There are no further details on what the new artist is working on, but we are sure some new music will be coming soon.
