The Future Of Cooking Has Arrived: Introducing The Thermomix TM7

With over 20 cooking modes, this product can quite literally do it all

The food world got an intimate preview of what’s next during the insider look event for the new Thermomix TM7. With over 11 million Thermomix products in kitchens worldwide, the TM7 is poised to redefine what a single appliance can do.  And Thermomix drove that point home with an immersive, five-course dinner crafted entirely by the new TM7 model, equipped to serve a fine dining experience.

The evening was an incredible demonstration of what the Thermomix can do, with each course designed to showcase a specific cooking mode that shows guests that an incredible dinner can be prepared with the TM7.

Stepping into the event, guests were treated to an elegant, seated dinner where the TM7 was the primary tool to cook the items on the. The menu itself was a clever blend of fine dining techniques and accessible, clean flavors:

  • First Course: Sicilian Salad
    • A Mediterranean-inspired salad featuring gently steamed shrimp and vegetables. This immediately highlighted the TM7’s superior steaming function, emphasizing its focus on healthy, simple ingredients and precise temperature control.  The dish was executed beautifully, the shrimp being moist and juicy and the vegetables being cooked through, and not soggy at all.  It was incredibly impressive to see how intuitive the Thermomix was when cooking and preparing both the meat and the vegetables.
  • Second Course: Gazpacho with Parsnip Purée & Smoked Olive Oil
    • A refreshing, chilled soup of root vegetables. This course demonstrated the TM7’s powerful blending mode, delivering a perfectly smooth, velvety texture in seconds.  The dish was able to preserve the fresh, bright flavors from the tomato and vegetables, delivering a burst of flavor with each spoonful.  The dish was prepared in the specialty TM7 blender and what brings this over the top is that the blending mode for the TM7 is the quietest it has ever been.  You practically have to bring your eye to the lid to hear the powerful motor go off.  And as someone who has pets at home, having a silent cooking machine makes the TM7 leagues above any other cooking tool.
  • Third Course: Sous Vide Black Garlic Chicken
    • Chicken served with potato mash, confit tomatoes, and seasonal vegetables. As the menu stated, the chicken was cooked Sous Vide from the Thermomix.  This dish blew us away.  The chicken was juicy and was packed with flavor from the black garlic.  And considering the TM7 has the ability of cooking chicken perfectly, it really takes the guesswork out of cooking delicate proteins like chicken. This dish proved that the TM7 had the ability to handle advanced, restaurant-quality techniques to deliver dishes that have the taste and feel of a fine dining chef.
  • Fourth Course: Cherry Palate Cleanser
    • A bright, refreshing bite meant to cleanse the palate. This dish takes one of Thermomix’s core values—”We can work magic out of simple things”—and perfectly encapsulates it.  Bursting with bright, acidic, and sweet flavors, this was the perfect interim dish for this dinner. Showcasing the simplicity of the ingredients while also demonstrating the TM7’s ability to create sophisticated results from basic ingredients will absolutely break barriers for at-home cooks all around the world.
  • Fifth Course: Poached Pears
    • Delicately poached pears over a fragrant, house-made custard sauce. The pears demonstrated the gentle warming and simmering functions of the TM7.  And the way that the pears were poaches were perfect.  Fork tender and you can cut through it with the slightest pressure.  The custard sauce really brought this dish together with the sweet taste and velvety texture. This brings multi-tasking at home to a new level where at-home cooks can press the steam function button and step away while the TM7 does all the work to create a luscious, pillowy dessert.
  • Finale: Dalgona Coffee Whip
    • The crescendo of the night was the Dalgona Coffee Whip.  We all knew the whipped coffee craze that occurred in the 2021/2022 years.  But while most people during that time had to spend their energy furiously whipping the coffee mixture into it was fluffy and airy, the TM7 allows cooks to whip the coffee mixture into a flawless, airy texture in under two minutes.

The evening’s takeaway was clear: the TM7 is not just an appliance; it’s a full-stack culinary assistant. Its most compelling upgrades are focused on power, precision, and ease-of-use:

The Immersive Guided Cooking feature is a gamechanger.  Using the new 10-inch intuitive touchscreen accompanied by Cookidoo, Thermomix’s recipe application with over 100,000 guided recipes, cooks at home can feel inspired to make something they have never even dreamt of. The system guides the user through every step, automatically setting the time, temperature, and speed and guarantees a perfect result regardless of one’s culinary skill level.  The app also learns based on your behavior.  With every recipe you cook using the TM7, the Cookidoo app learns what your preferences are and can recommend new and innovative recipes for you to try next time.  And the best part is that no matter what, the TM7 can do all the heavy lifting for you.

The TM7 boasts over 20 culinary functions, including staples like Dough, Blend, Kettle, Slow Cook, Sous-vide, and Pre-clean. The new Open Cooking mode is a true game-changer, allowing for flexible, traditional cooking (up to 100°C with the lid off) for tasks like reducing sauces or gently stirring a risotto, blending the best of old and new techniques.

And beneath the sleek design is a maintenance-free Vorwerk synchronous motor with an extended range. What struck us most, however, was its sound—or lack thereof. As Thermomix highlights, the motor is incredibly silent, allowing it to do all the heavy lifting in the background, a true luxury for any open-concept kitchen.

The TM7 replaces an entire counter’s worth of equipment—from scales and blenders to slow cookers and steamers—with one elegant, footprint-friendly device. For both the novice cook who needs a flawless result and the foodie looking to elevate their techniques, the new Thermomix TM7 proves that the future of cooking is automated, intelligent, and utterly delicious. Look for the TM7 to hit U.S. retail shelves soon, and prepare for your kitchen to be revolutionized.
