Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin and Michaela Seewald brought their new global fashion partnership spectacularly to life at Grand Central Terminal as Vanderbilt & Seewald Global Studio made its New York Fashion Week debut before a packed Vanderbilt Hall. The presentation marked the first major public showcase for the venture co-founded by Vanderbilt Costin, founder and CEO of House of Vanderbilt and co-founder of SohoMuse, and Seewald, founder and CEO of V24 Media. Together, the two entrepreneurs created V&S Global Studio around an ambitious proposition: bringing investment, strategic guidance, media, technology and direct-to-consumer commerce together to help international designers build their presence in the U.S. and global markets while maintaining ownership, creative control and brand identity.
With Mario Lopez serving as emcee, the runway showcased three distinctive international voices: Mexican designer Lorena Saravia, Stockholm-based Dustin Glickman of DSTN and Paris couturier Nabil Hayari of Hayari Paris. Their participation reflected the global outlook at the heart of the Vanderbilt-Seewald partnership and its goal of using New York as a gateway for international creative talent. The trio had been selected to represent different aesthetics and markets, from Saravia’s combination of Mexican craftsmanship and modern luxury to DSTN’s “dark cowboy” aesthetic and Hayari’s Parisian couture.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and fashion entrepreneur Sutton Stracke brought her 5th Annual Women Pioneers of Circular Fashion 2026/27 celebration to the Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance in New York. GURUS Magazine joined Stracke in spotlighting a conversation that is becoming increasingly difficult for the fashion world to ignore: what happens to our clothes after we are finished wearing them?
Because for an industry built around what comes next, fashion is being forced to think much harder about what gets left behind. And Stracke, whose personal style has long embraced the collectible, the extravagant and the beautifully made, is an interesting person to push that conversation forward. Through SUTTON Brands and SUTTON Green Label, she is making the argument that circular fashion does not have to exist outside the world of luxury. A beautiful piece can be worn again, resold, rented, passed on or reinvented. In fact, there is something inherently luxurious about owning something worth keeping.

Hunt Slonem, MaryAnn Giella McCulloh (PMC / Paul Bruinooge)
Hunt Slonem’s unmistakable universe of rabbits, butterflies, birds and brilliant color arrived at One Art Space in Tribeca for “Through the Looking Glass.” The exhibition brought together works that capture the repetition, movement and fascination with nature that have become signatures of the celebrated American neo-expressionist artist.
Among the works on show which were curated by Co-Owner of One Art Space, MaryAnn Giella McCulloh are “Pink Ascension” (2021), a monumental 77-by-101-inch oil on canvas in which butterflies drift across a luminous pink field, transforming one of Slonem’s most enduring subjects into an enveloping study of rhythm, repetition and movement. At the other end of the scale is “Blue Hutch” (2025), a 20-by-24-inch oil on wood depicting a gathering of Slonem’s instantly recognizable rabbits against a vivid blue ground.

(Perk’s US)
Perk’s US spend management announcement got a fitting launch with a takeover of CityPickle’s flagship Times Square location. The activation brought together seven branded pickleball courts, an Audi Formula 1 show car, and executives from major companies including JetBlue, Axon, and Thrive Capital for an afternoon of games, photo opps, food, and drinks in the heart of Midtown.
The event tied directly into Perk’s broader launch narrative: just as the company is bringing travel, expenses, and approvals into one seamless platform, the activation’s tagline, “the only back-and-forth you need in your day happens on the court,” captured the endless, invisible tasks that drain time and energy without moving work forward, what Perk calls shadow work, and what its AI-native platform is designed to eliminate.
Beyond the pickleball, the takeover doubled as a networking moment, giving Perk’s leadership team face time with customers and prospects in a fun, high-energy setting rather than a traditional conference room. The Audi F1 show car added a strong visual anchor for photo and video content, while the mix of business, tech, and finance executives on-site reinforced the breadth of companies backing Perk’s push into the US market.

And Joe is set to perform on Oct. 3 at Bergen Pac. A self-described “country boy” born in South Georgia and raised in Alabama, Joe often accompanied his traveling evangelist father on the road. Growing up, he also learned to play the guitar and piano while developing his vocal skills in church. Joe’s dream of attending Dillard University in New Orleans to study business and law took a backseat when he opted to relocate to New Jersey in pursuit of a musical career. After notching his first R&B top 10 for Mercury Records in 1993 with “I’m in Luv,” Joe began hitting his stride in the mid-‘90s with the R&B and pop crossover smash “All the Things (Your Man Won’t Do).”
