The programming includes the return of their trademark closing event Cityfox: Transcend, a day/night double-header with John Summit, Turnstile, SG Lewis, 3 nights of Black Coffee, and many more.
Following its fifth season packed with performances from world-class artists, unparalleled venue takeovers, sold-out afterparties, and incredible nights spent under its now-iconic outdoor, 200-feet long and 30-feet high 15k resolution video wall, The Brooklyn Mirage announces its biggest season-closing series yet. The East Williamsburg-based venue, recently awarded DJ Mag’s coveted title of “Best Large Club” in North America, will extend its season-closing programming across three weeks with a diverse selection of events. The festivities will kick off on October 1-2 with the first-ever two-day edition of Cityfox: Transcend Festival, boasting a mix of DJ and live sets from Ben Böhmer (LIVE), Giorgia Angiuli (LIVE), Henrik Schwarz (LIVE), INNELLEA, Maceo Plex, ONYVAA, Victor Calderone and many more. The outdoor venue will also host a series of Brooklyn Mirage debuts including Baltimore-based rockers Turnstile, British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist SG Lewis, international party professional and DJ, John Summit, with a back-to-back day and night doubleheader, a sold-out day party with Purple Disco Machine, plus improvisation wizard Marc Rebillet. On the third and final season closing weekend, October 14, 15, and 16, The Brooklyn Mirage will welcome a special 3-night experience curated and headlined by Grammy-winning South African DJ and producer Black Coffee.
Earlier this year, The Brooklyn Mirage (the outdoor venue located in the larger 80,000-foot complex known as Avant Gardner) announced its full venue redesign, featuring a one-of-a-kind 200-feet long and 30-feet high 15k resolution video wall topped by a 100-foot custom-built stage roof, upgraded VIP areas, enhanced viewing from elevated catwalks, and increased food and beverage options. Their subsequent 2022 season welcomed attendees and artists from all over the world, providing a one-of-a-kind live music experience that is unique to its Brooklyn home. In addition to hosting returning performances from Mirage staples, such as Bonobo, Boris Brejcha, Disclosure, DJ Snake, FIsher, Galantis, Kaskade, Nora En Pure, Tale Of Us, and ZEDD and diversifying their programming to offer full-scale concert experiences from the likes of CHVRCHES, Glass Animals, Toro y Moi, and more, The Brooklyn Mirage hosted DJ Mag “2022 Best Of North America Awards” ceremony in June. Building upon an already impressive season of accomplishments, Avant Gardner and The Brooklyn Mirage were awarded the title of “Best Large Club.” In the same month, Avant Gardner reached yet another pivotal milestone by announcing their acquisition of popular New York promoter Made Event and its annual festival, Electric Zoo. The recent business move is definitive of Avant Gardner’s continued success and expansion of its thriving entertainment empire, solidifying its position as a premier destination for world-class nightlife and beyond.
