With only days away from reaching the end of this whirlwind of a year, one thing remains true; our WFH looks need a total makeover.
What we began wearing back in March is simply just no longer cutting it. In 2021, we’re all about dressing in clothing that inspires confidence. Especially those that don’t sacrifice any points in the cozy department — and The Bright Side Collection by Rocky Barnes does just that.
Rocky Barnes is a model, entrepreneur, and influencer. On Instagram, Barnes constantly stuns her 2.1 million followers with her luxurious lifestyle. Influencers have long steered the fashion landscape with their stylish looks that constantly set trends instead of following them, which is why the success of lines such as Barnes’ comes as no surprise.
Barnes set out to create a fashion-forward, coordinating collection of pajamas and casualwear that is perfect for women, men, and even babies. The influencer is a mom and a wife, which explains her decision to expand her collection to a more inclusive fashion. It’s the perfect line to shop for the entire family and the matching sets will look superb in any household. The unisex styles have a vast collection of unique designs and colorful prints.
Barnes shared in an emailed statement, “I love mixing masculine and feminine. My husband, Matt Cooper, is always stealing my clothes when I order oversized and I tend to steal his, so it seemed only natural that this collection would focus on comfortable, leisure apparel that we could both wear.” She added, “And of course, being a new mom, I couldn’t help but create unisex matching sets for babies, as well.”
The Bright Side price points range from $36 for unisex wool socks to $268 for colorful sweater robes. Additionally, the leisurewear includes PJ tops, sweaters, slinky bras with wrap ties, and bathrobes. I recently tried out the Seashell Topanga Top and when I say I was in a cozy (and very cute) heaven — I mean it. I would live in this collection line if I could!
The Seashell Topanga Top felt comfortable enough to wear all day and was the perfect knit to wear during my zoom meetings, the perfect mix between lounge and chic. The line is a result of Barnes’ partnership with Hilda Batayneh, executive creative director of Reunited Clothing.
Barnes continued to say, “Ultimately, I always design what I want to wear myself and at the moment, sporting cute and cozy fashion as a family—clothes we can all wear at home or out and about — was the ultimate inspiration and I can’t wait to see everyone wearing this line!”
As a whole, this is the collection that makes you want to put on some tunes, grab some wine, and settle in for a magnificent night all about self-care. And if you’re one of those people who enjoy wearing your PJs during the holidays — you definitely can’t go wrong wearing anything by Rocky Barnes.
