On Tuesday, The American Turkish Society held their annual fall gala at The Pierre in New York City. The event honored Hüsnü Özyeğin, Founder and Chairman of FIBA Holding and Hamdi Ulukaya, Founder and CEO of Chobani.
The evening included cocktails and dinner in the grand Pierre Ballroom and an after party at Beautique. Guests were able to mingle amongst notable attendees including The Coca-Cola Company Chairman & CEO Muhtar Kent, Honorary Gala Chair Mica Ertegun, and ATS Chairman Murat Köprülü whilst enjoying fine champagne and cocktails.
Dinner consisted of a three course meal along with live performances by Joey Morant and the Lucky Chops, a silent and live auction, and speeches on behalf of the honorees. The Pierre Ballroom was decorated in an Ottoman theme with help of the country’s renowned designers such as Guillaume Gentet, Dennis Rolland & L’OBJET, Edward D. Lobrano, Jack Levy, Tracy Stern and Randy Polumbo, Lukas Design Group and Robert Passal, Maggie Norris, Tümay Günaydın, DeBare Saunders and Ronald Mayne’s Stingray Hornsby Interiors.
