The Knockturnal attended The 30th Annual Race to Erase MS Gala at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, California. The event was organized by Nancy Davis, an advocate for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and the founder of both the organization and the Center Without Walls. The gala aimed to raise funds for the Race to Erase MS and its Center Without Walls program, which brings together top MS research centers to collaborate on groundbreaking research for treating and finding a cure for MS.
Race to Erase MS was founded in 1993 by Nancy Davis and is dedicated to the treatment and ultimate cure of Multiple Sclerosis. Over the years, the foundation has raised more than $58 million and contributed to the development of 25 FDA-approved therapies for MS. The gala directly benefits the Center Without Walls program, which involves collaboration between leading MS research institutions, including Cedars-Sinai, UCSF, Harvard, Yale, and more.
Nancy Davis also created the annual “Orange You Happy to Erase MS” campaign, which takes place during MS Awareness Month in May. The campaign raises funds and increases public awareness about MS through the sale of specially created orange products.
The event featured performances by Flo Rida and Siedah Garrett. It kicked off with a fashion show by Cinq à Sept, showcasing their Fall 2023 Fashion Collection. Nancy Davis herself wore a Cinq à Sept gown for the event. Alessandra Ambrosio, AnnaLynne McCord, Kathy Hilton, and more, also wore Cinq à Sept attire.
