On Monday, September 24th, the stars of FOX’s “Empire” Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard celebrated the return of their hit series at LAFAYETTE in New York City.
The event was intimate. We also spotted co-star Paolo Nieddu and director Sanaa Hamri in the building along with Howard’s wife Mira Pak, and a few other cool guests.
After an explosive season 4 with the Lyons losing the fight over the Empire, the passing of Tory, Anika’s falling death, and a heart-stopping cliffhanger left fanatics questioning the fate of Hakeem, Tiana, baby Bella and Blake, not to mention what’s next for the power-driven family. Cookie and Lucious deserved the ceremony of French dining and the endless supply of wine and cocktails served at the Lafayette Grand Cafe & Bakery because from the looks of how things were left off, life may not be as grand this time around.
It will be destination TV tonight as season 5 of Empire premieres on FOX at 8 p.m.
