Château d’Esclans has partnered with the iconic Beverly Wilshire Hotel to introduce Rosé on Rodeo!
The luxurious hotel invites consumers for a pleasurable experience at TheBLVD restaurant and lounge right in the heart of Beverly Hills. Customers will get the opportunity to enjoy a special curated flight and bite menu and be taken on a journey of rosé exploration available through Labor Day daily from 3pm to 6pm. Chateau d’Esclans is a magical property situated in the heart of Provence, northeast of St. Tropez and home to Whispering Angel. Summer is coming to an end but the Chateau d’Esclans team has been working diligently to bring a touch of rosé magic to some of the most beautiful locations in the world.
The Knockturnal was able to indulge in the ultimate day of relaxation, luxury and of course, rosé. Upon entry we were greeted by the hostess who kindly ushered us to our table outside overlooking the infamous Rodeo Drive. Shortly after, the waiter started the journey introducing us to four different bottles of rosé which included Whispering Angel, Rock Angel, Château d’Esclans and Garrus. The four wines were paired with small, delectable bites that enhanced both the flavor of the wines as well as the food. Whispering Angel, premium, lush but bone dry and a smooth finish was paired with Japanese Hamachi, jalapeño and ponzu. The taste of fresh red berry fruits and floral notes were definitely apparent and there wasn’t an astringent after taste. Rock Angel, rich and edgy was paired with peaches and burrata and shiso dressing creating the perfect balance of powerful and elegance. The Château d’Esclans, balanced and classic with a creamy texture and saline finish was paired with rosé gelée and smoked trout caviar. Lastly the Garrus, tasting of luxury with its toasty notes reminiscent of a vintage Champagne without the bubbles was paired with rosé infused strawberries. Following the pairings, we enjoyed a delicious petit macaron ice cream bite for dessert that surely cleansed the palette. The experience continued as we were able to try the custom frosé while lounging poolside on a beautiful summer day in Los Angeles. “We hope that this summer will be the most glamorous one yet” the team at Château d’Esclans shared and through the Rosé on Rodeo program, it most definitely was.
