We started off with beginner friendly yoga poses and throughout the class we were greeted with playful interactions with the puppies who were eager to show their love. On a much deeper spectrum, puppy yoga can also be very therapeutic. Studies have shown that it improves mood and reduces anxiety in both humans and dogs. Interactions with puppies trigger the release of oxytocin, the ‘love hormone,’ this results in a feeling of contentment and emotional wellness.
