AMC’s “Into The Badlands” will make it’s return on Sunday, April 22nd.
AMC released the first trailer for the upcoming third season of its hit martial arts series, “Into the Badlands,” to a packed house of fans during a panel at WonderCon Anaheim 2018. The panel featured series star and executive producer Daniel Wu (Tomb Raider) who returns as Sunny, Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) who returns as Bajie, Lorraine Toussaint (“Orange is the New Black”) who joins the cast this season as Cressida, and showrunner, executive producer and writer Alfred Gough.
Season 3 in particular is set to make major departure from it’s previous entries – as Sunny (played by Wu) is drawn back into the badlands, becoming involved in a war that encompasses the entire region. New faces like Lydia (Orla Brady) and Nathaniel Moon (Sherman Augustus) join the fray.
“Into the Badlands” was created by executive producers, showrunners and writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville) and is executive produced by Oscar®-nominated producers Stacey Sher (Django Unchained) and Michael Shamberg (Contagion), along with David Dobkin (The Judge), Stephen Fung (Tai Chi Zero), Michael Taylor (TURN: Washington’s Spies) and Wu.
