Filmmakers, producers, actors, mega influencers and many more gathered this past weekend to kick off the annual New York Film Festival. The highly anticipated documentary Hamilton’s America, which follows Lin-Manuel Miranda’s creative journey that led to the creation of Hamilton the musical, premiered at the festival and we got the chance to chat with Lin-Manuel, the cast and creative team. They talked about the process of filming the documentary and the importance of the film.
On Oct. 1 2016, The Knockturnal attended the premiere screening of Hamilton’s America at The New York Film Festival, and the panel discussion that followed between the film’s director, Alex Horwitz, the production’s stars Lin-Manuel Miranda and Renée Elise Goldsberry, and historian Ron Chernow.
On Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, The Knockturnal took its shot at seeing the premiere of “Hamilton’s America,” directed by Alex Horwitz, at the The New York Film Festival in the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
