The future of storytelling was on full display as Runway’s fourth annual AI Festival took over New York’s Lincoln Center, and this year, something fundamental had shifted.
A night of live performances and shades of violet, nearly 500 guests congregated at Cipriani South Street to celebrate New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts’ 60th anniversary on April 13. The festivities centered Theatre Mitu Founding Artistic Director and Tisch’s newest Dean, Rubén Polendo and two honorees — Runway co-founder and Tisch alum, Cristóbal Valenzuela (‘18) and Pulitzer Prize winning writer and Tisch faculty member, Suzan- Lori Parks.
