Lady Gaga is taking Bradley Cooper by the hand in the remake of the 1937 “A Star is Born” classic, but the the remake everyone seems to know is the 1976 film that starred the legendary Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.

It wasn’t just Lady Gaga headlining in the Palm Springs desert this weekend. Noah Cyrus, Miley’s little sister, totally slayed as she performed her megahit “Make Me (Cry)” and “Stay Together” at the Lucky Lounge Desert Jam, courtesy of the iconic Lucky Brand.
Lorde has released new tracks from her upcoming album ‘Melodrama’ over the first Coachella weekend.
From pool side bliss to slip and slide madness, my Coachella weekend in Palm Springs was lit.
Coachella is such a huge music festival that just 30 minutes away, in beautiful sunny Palm Springs, there were a host of parties that were going down. I got the chance to attend two: the first being HYPEBEAST Hotel, an event thrown by super mega street wear brand HYPEBEAST. The second being 40 oz & Waffles Coachella Pop Up, a quite amazing event hosted by the Los Angeles based brand.
For starters, the HYPEBEAST HOTEL was awesome. Partnering up with Under Armour, the two day long event saw appearances by Gucci Mane, GoldLink, and Tyga, along with DJ sets from Baauer and Zaytoven. After chilling water side, downing 1800 Tequila and Moet, it was time for a change of pace. So off to 40z & Waffles we went.
When pulled up, the aroma from the catered BBQ filled the air along with sound waves from Angie Vee, Demi Lobo, and DJ Osh Kosh. Walking into the mansion made me feel like I was in a movie set. Beautiful women, massive pool, and the iconic fun filled Twister game. This mansion party was the perfect fit for anyone looking to have a good time. There were several Los Angeles socialites in attendance – Vials, Cordell Broads, Dijon Samo, and Serge Durand – as well as NBA big man, Glen “Baby” Davis. Free Ciroc and Dusse drinks enhanced the vibe which ultimately led to a twerk competition, piñata hitting session, and slip n slide rounds.
All in all, everyone’s IG story was lit. Next weekend got a run for its money.
Coachella is just around the corner, as the top artists hit the stage in Indio, California, as thousands of people come together to soak up the sun and dance the weekend away.
If You’re At Coachella This Week Weekend 40z & Waffles Event Is The Place To Be
This weekend everyone is invited to the 40z & Waffles x Coachella Pop-Up!
Coachella Highlights: Bootsy Bellows Pool Party, The Music Lounge & More
Every year Coachella brings out the hottest names in Hollywood and this year is no different. It’s not easy juggling full days on the festival grounds and the countless mansion parties that take place all day and night, but there are some happenings that simply can’t be missed.
The McDonald’s All Day Breakfast party at the Bootsy Bellows Estate is that party. Imagine a massive Palm Springs residence transformed into a giant McDonald’s. With fresh, hot fries, a variety of smoothie flavors and breakfast items served up on platters at every turn, we were constantly reminded that Mickey D’s now serves breakfast all damn day. Other highlights were the huge ball pit, which seemed to be a Kellen Lutz favorite, a karaoke booth, a pair of gigantic golden arches and exciting DJ sets and performances by Mia Moretti, Devin Lucien, Moxie Raia, Jimi Tents, Post Malone and Belly.
Celeb attendees included Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Karrueche Tran, Aaron Paul, The Weeknd, Bella Hadid, Cody Simpson, Michael B Jordan, Brody Jenner, Jesse Metcalf, Derek Hough, Ashley Greene, Hailey Baldwin, Amber Valetta, Tyler Blackburn, Amber Rose and many more.

Over the weekend, Isaiah Mustafa (Old Spice Guy, “Shadowhunters”) helped kick-off Old Spice’s year-long partnership with Tough Mudder, along with thousands of athletes taking on its grueling 10+ mile obstacle course, at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino (with 30+ more events to come across the U.S.) As the official Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant and Body Wash of Tough Mudder, Mustafa was on hand to show participants that there’s no better proving ground for the new Hardest Working Collection, Old Spice’s most powerful product line-up that takes performance to legendary extremes, giving advice and high fives to participants from the Start to Finish Line, with a pit stop at Old Spice’s Mud Mile 2.0 and Pop & Lock obstacles.
The Obstacles
- Mud Mile 2.0 – Lend a hand, take a hand; pay it forward, give it back – this obstacle is all about going the extra mile. With waist-deep mud pits and slippery mounds to mount, Mud Mile is a classic Mudder fan favorite.
- Pop & Lock – Found in the Mudder Village, both participants and attendees can test their strength against the ultimate escalating pull-up bar. Achieve legendary status by using a movable pull-up bar to ascend over the structure, one bar at a time.
Coachella’s first weekend rounded up a long list of artists, but the best were the ones that were left unannounced.
Flowers, makeup, tattoos oh my!
Headliners include Arcade Fire, Kendrick Lamar and LCD Soundsystem.
