Panorama is set to take place July 22-24, 2016 and, as many know, is supposed to be the East Coast equivalent of Coachella Festival. In addition to a myriad of concerts Panorama will bring you technology-inspired installations and delicious food “to celebrate New York City’s position as both a capital of entertainment and hub of innovative technology.”
In addition to headliners such as Kendrick Lamar and LCD Soundsystem, we will see there Major Lazer, FKA twigs, Blood Orange, Sia, Flatbush Zombies, A$AP Rocky and more.
Panorama organizers are partnering with The Verge, a technology and culture brand, to create an installation called Future Lab that will show new technology in unconventional ways. The festival’s food options will be curated by Eater along with its renowned critic and NYC food expert, Robert Sietsema. They goal is to highlight the broad culinary offerings of all five boroughs of the city of New York.
The name of the festival comes from the 10,000 square feet model of the skyline of New York located in the Queens Museum – by purchasing the festival ticket, you will also gain access to the museum to see the Panorama.
Panorama 2016 will be hosted at Randall’s Island Park, located in the East River. Passes are on sale now. 3-day General Admission tickets are available for $369 and 3-day VIP passes for $769. For more information go to PANORAMA.NYC.
