Surprisingly, it’s been two years since the last time we heard any original music from Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter, Stacy Barthe. Returning to the music under the new stage name Saint Barthe, with her new lease, she unveils her new single, titled, “Sober”.
Directed by Raquel Lee-Bolleau, “Sober” provides a beautiful glimpse into the happy times as Saint Barthe sings about the deeper connection she is finally ready for. “Sober” is about the kind of love that makes you want to remember every single moment and that feeling floats smoothly through her voice in every verse.
Barthe has gone through many painful parts of her journey publicly over the last few years, and in her recovery has become an advocate for suicide prevention while bringing a powerful new energy to her creative process. Many may remember Stacy for her music with Rihanna, Katy Perry and T.I., to name a few. Back, Saint Barthe is the second leg of a soon-to-be chart-topping return.
