Just in time for Halloween, Spotify hosted an exclusive preview of their costume pop up in New York City. Deejayed by ‘The Good Place’ actress Jameela Jamil, the preview featured a spread of costumes inspired by both today’s top music artists and iconic costumes in music history. The 12 featured artists worked closely alongside Spotify to develop the pieces, with items like Britney Spears’s famous 2001 VMA snake, Bad Bunny’s nail art, and Billie Eilish’s spider decorated crown as just a few of the imitations on display.

Pieces inspired by Lil Nas X, Freddie Mercury, and Jaden Smith
This weekend, Spotify will be hosting a pop up where these costumes and more will be available for a first come, first served giveaway that music fans can take advantage of for any last minute Halloweekend costume plans. Spotify’s Global Creative Director Alex Bodman said during the event that this giveaway will be a great way to connect artists with the fans.
“We wanted to highlight some of the iconic artists who have thrilled, challenged and even shocked us, by inviting consumers to a pop-up they can truly immerse themselves in. It’s a celebration of iconic moments in music history and connects fans and artists in a way that only Spotify can.”
The pop up will take place from 10am-9pm this Saturday October 26th at 163 Mercer Street New York, NY 10012.
