SoHo’s sweetest collab of the summer has officially arrived, and it’s worth braving the heat for.
August 15 was scorching, but that didn’t stop patrons from lining up along the SoHo streets, eager to get their hands on the Kith Treats x Loser’s Eating House limited edition The Loser’s Cinny Roll Swirl. The tasty, sweet treat proved a welcome reprieve from the summer heat. The limited edition dessert was created in partnership with Loser’s Eating House’s head chef, Lizzy Koury and Kith Treats.
Vanilla ice cream is topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and a pinch of Maldon salt. The olive oil and salt are the perfect balance to the rest of the dessert. They evoke just a whisper of Euro summer amid the streets of New York City. Opposite ends of richness balance each other out. Together, they produce flavors that had your next bite coming before the spoon even left your mouth. A tiny Kith branded chocolate bar peeks out of the side of the ice cream. This is all piled on top of a Cinny Roll base. It’s soft and slightly savory in a way that cuts through the sweetness above, rounding out the dessert with a satisfying complexity from top to bottom.

New Yorkers can try it for themselves through Aug. 23 until supplies lasts, at the Kith Dumbo, SoHo & Williamsburg locations. This summer’s heat has offered little relief, but this dessert delivers a wonderfully unexpected escape.
