Blake Shelton hosted Nickelodeon’s 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards bringing lots of slime, jokes and musical talent to the stage.
After receiving some hosting advice from friends Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, Chewbacca and BB-8, Shelton fought against stormtroopers on a The Voice chair to make his way to the stage to host the night.
Singer-songwriter Charlie Puth and hip-hop star Wiz Khalifa put together a mashup of “One Call Away” and “See you Again.” The pair also took home a blimp for best collaboration with “See you Again.” Silento also performed his hit “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” for the crowd. DNCE closed out the night with their hit “Cake by the Ocean” accompanied by a large dousing of slime for them and the audience.
