Slate NY is really the best place to go out and get blasted
If you’ve ever been to Slate NY, you know for a fact that it’s the best place to be when you want to have a drink and beat your friends at arcade games all while dancing it out to some of the best songs out. And last week, Slate celebrated its 20th anniversary with a huge blowout bash. Guests were treated to specialty cocktails created and delicious signature dishes from Executive Chef Darryl Harmon. This party had it all from contortionists to fire eaters to drag queens to stilt walkers. At every moment there was something incredible and unique happening that you would never see anywhere else. And special guests included Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, and Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino.
While attending this event, there were so many fun and interesting things to do so that it was hard to pick out individual highlights. Slate NY, boasting 16,000 square feet is essentially a giant arcade/playground. And in this playground, we got a chance to play a little mini bowling. At Slate, there is an area in the back that has three mini bowling lanes where guests can play against friends and strangers in a less intense, less strenuous, but equally as competitive bowling game. Another fun part of this Slate party was how guests had a chance to be their own bartender. Specialty cocktails were provided by Liquid Lab NYC, and these were some of the best cocktails you could have. They had two signature drinks, one with gin and another with bourbon, both tasting delicious and fruity. The best part of the bartender experience was the chance to muddle the berries and cucumbers until they were mush – a great way of releasing all that pent up anger and aggression you may have. Other great amenities at Slate include a private karaoke room, an arcade, ping pong tables, pool tables, Skee-Ball, pinball, and a huge foosball table.
All in all, this celebration was a huge hit and really highlighted some of the best parts of Slate. Slate should definitely be everyone’s go-to for a great night out full of fun and games. The vibes are great, the drinks keep flowing, and the food is to die for.
