The Skylark Roof Deck, NYCโs premiere event space and bar, opened its doorโs last night with a kick off to summer celebration.
Invited guests previewed the barโs summer cocktail menu with drink offerings like the Caramelized Pineapple Mojito made with Rum, caramelized pineapple puree, mint and lime juice. The Spring Fling was also a favorite made with cucumber vodka, St. Germain, lemon juice, muddled green grapes and basil.
Guests also had the opportunity to taste items from the menu like lobster rolls, chicken tacos, shrimp pizza, and avocado on toast.
Youโll work for your tequila getting to this swanky lounge. Upon entering the building there is a long corridor leading to the elevators that will take you to the 30th floor. Youโll think youโve arrived but not quite yet โ youโll have to walk another corridor and climb two flights of stairs before getting to this roof deck, but once you catch your breath youโll be glad you did.
While the cocktails brought us to The Skylark, the stunning panoramic views kept us indulged well into the evening. Located just south of Times Square, the views are some of the best weโve seen and yes, weโre including the bar at 230 5th in our analysis. This roof top bar is open to the public Monday โ Friday but closed for private events (itโs well known for weddings) during the weekends.
