The coziest rooftop you’ll find in NYC
The Sir Henri Penthouse Rooftop is a cocktail bar like no other. Boasting a speakeasy vibe with a modern twist, this Rooftop is the perfect place to get together and drink some amazing drinks and eat some delicious food. And with the cold weather rolling in, there isn’t a better place to snuggle up and have a few cocktails.
And last Monday, the Sir Henri Penthouse Rooftop unveiled their new winter menu. The entire menu pays homage to some of jazzes greatest artists, with a fun twist. You have drinks such as the Margaretha Franklin which is a jalapeno tequila, paired with pineapple, cane syrup, and jalapenos. This drink was actually our favorite, think spicy margarita with an emphasis on the jalapeno but with a subtle sweetness from the cane syrup. Another favorite of ours was Nut King Cole. This is made from a spiced rum, Frangelico, Fernet Blanca, Amaro and honey. This drink was more on the sweeter side, but not overbearingly so. The spiced rum and the honey play really well together which makes for a delightful sip each time. Along with the revamped cocktail menu, Sir Henri Penthouse also added some special food items to their menu such as calamari, shrimp tacos, and beef sliders.
And the ambiance of Sir Henri Penthouse Rooftop is like no other. It’s a place where you can bring a group of friends and look out to a phenomenal view of New York City, all while staying warm and cozy, drinking some of their delicious drinks. This bar has a very intimate feel which is why we enjoyed it so much. Why would you want to go to some crowded bar and feel people breathing down your neck when you can sit down on a comfy couch and have a few laughs?
