Sam Edelman Celebrates the Release of New Fragrance Duet at The Bowery Hotel Alongside Global Brand Ambassador Charlotte Lawrence

The visionary lifestyle brand partners with award-winning beauty company, Parlux Ltd., to create a floral watery scent of sweetness and delicacy.

On Wednesday, September 3rd, Duet Eau de Parfum debuted in the Bowery neighborhood of New York City with a rooftop launch party of the utmost elegance. Joined by Sam Edelman himself, his wife and co-founder Libby Edelman, along with singer, songwriter, and actress Charlotte Lawrence, those in attendance relish the scene of great panache.

Much like the decorated gathering, Duet shall be described as playful, sophisticated, and undoubtedly beautiful. Created by Alexandra Monet, perfumer at Firmenich, Duet tells the story of timelessness and harmony. The fragrance is comprised of valiant notes: mandarin, grapefruit, and fig at the top, coconut water, gardenia, and cassis at the heart, and cedarwood, white suede, and musks at the base. Duet Eau de Parfum indicates duality, representing both softness and strength to the woman mantled by the scent.

“After 45 years of partnership, we sought to create something authentically true to our brand—an organic expression of the femininity and sensuality that Libby brings to the Sam Edelman universe, translating our personal romance into this new olfactory chapter,” says Sam Edelman, Founder and Creative Director.

The latest fragrance collaboration revolutionizes the notable American footwear brand’s identity by expanding the heritage and legacy of Sam Edelman to a new realm of lifestyle goods. Encased in a rose gold ballet slipper, the design of the Duet bottle encapsulates the extended direction of the brand to perfection.

Charlotte Lawrence is not only the face of the campaign (shot by Libby Edelman), but her track “Ballerina,” featured on her debut album “Somewhere,” is also featured in the fragrance promotion. What could make for a more kismet connection?
