Ryan Leslie gave a stellar performance to his fans at the Los Angeles Center Studios on Friday June 26.
The Grammy nominated artist performed a few hit singles like “New New” and new songs like”Designer Pain” from his much anticipated upcoming album “MZRT.”
The Vortex Immersion Dome gave fans a different viewing experience. There were three screens displaying music videos while the man of the hour himself rapped and sang the lyrics. Cocktails and Fatburger were provided for everyone in the lounge area. After the performance, Ryan Leslie talked directly to up and coming artists about his music service Disruptive Multimedia, DMM, a new platform for artists to connect with their fans.
Ryan said on his web site, “When I left my record label, I did so because I realized that most people are only worried about sales figures and sales volume. I am worried about you – the people whose money make my dream possible. I want to be able to say thank you, not just to a huge group of anonymous fans, but to specific ones that actually care about my career and the art that I’m sharing with the world. I call this group the #Renegades because I know this is an unorthodox approach. Nevertheless it’s one in which I truly believe.”
