A beautiful night here in Queens to celebrate the work of this amazing organization
Last week, Room to Grow hosted an intimate and chic event in Long Island City at The Foundry. The event was hosted by actress and Room to Grow Founding Board Member Uma Thurman alongside newest board member, actress Maya Hawke. During the event, special speeches were delivered by Room to Grow leadership, Uma Thurman, and Maya Hawke (who delivered her speech virtually due to filming constraints).
Room to Grow is a special non profit that aims to provide support and necessary supplies to low-income families and children aged newborn to three years old. Room to Grow has facilities in both the New York and Boston regions.
Guests were able to mingle throughout the beautiful courtyard of The Foundry, eating some of the delicious small bites and sipping on some fresh cocktails or a glass of wine. The event was hosted both in-person and virtually. Alongside live streaming from the Boston facility, the event was streamed for anyone to watch live across the globe. The live auction part was also hosted virtually, where anyone could bid on some of the select special items up for auction that night. All proceeds will go to Room to Grow and help sustain their three year programs for families in which they provide parenting support, baby and toddler items, and community connections across their wide network.
