The born and bred in New York company JASON has been providing delicate personal care products since 1959.
Their name comes from the Greek word healer, and they have made a promise to manufacture products with gentle and effective ingredients that won’t harm your skin. They have a broad range of personal care products that include face, body, hair, oral, sun, kids, and even gluten free.
All of the shower oils are made without parabens, SLS, petrolatum, artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, and phthalates. We tried the Renewing Olive, Nourishing Shea Butter, and Smoothing Coconut.
It was a pleasant surprise to see that the Renewing Oil didn’t smell like olives but had a clean smell instead. The Nourishing Shea Butter and Smoothing Coconut also didn’t smell exactly like usual coconut or shea butter products; instead they smell very refreshing.
The oils have a very light gel texture that makes it easier to use without a sponge or cleaning cloth. It is noticeable that they are made without harsh chemicals, since the gels are smooth, color-less, and soft on the skin. There is no oily residue after using them, yet skin is softer than with regular shower gels.
