Independent, multi-faceted artist QUIN offers a preview of her new project, “SCORPIA” (feat. 6LACK) at a listening party!
On November 6th, Independent, multifaceted creator and musician QUIN hosted a listening party for new single “SCORPIA” (feat. 6LACK). QUIN’s newest single is a visual depiction of the artist’s sonic rebirth, representing the sacred element of water and paying homage to the Scorpio, the Pisces, and the Cancer within all. “SCORPIA” also marks Quin’s entrance into her independence era. This is QUIN’s third collaboration with 6LACK, dating back to 2019 where the two collaborated on “Fav” and “Mushroom Chocolate” from QUIN’s LUCID EP.
The listening event took place in SOHO, NYC. There was merchandise available for guests ranging from t-shirts and tote bags to incense. The event kicked off with melodic tunes greeting guests as they entered. Halfway into the event, the visuals for “SCORPIA” were played for the audience. Viewers were taken on a visual journey of the world QUIN has created within her dreams. As the video concluded, QUIN greeted the audience and explained the inspiration behind “SCORPIA”. She also brought out the director of the video, Andres Burgos and 6LACK to say a few words on the piece. The night then transitioned into QUIN performing a live set of her songs. She also gave the audience a sneak peak to unreleased tracks.
