The Music
Primavera Sound Festival has become one of the most important and renowned festivals of Europe, let alone Barcelona. It may be because of the 400+ of artists they are bringing. But remember it´s not always quantity that matters but rather quality. Thankfully this festival offers both. Attendees will be able to witness shows by household names like Dua Lipa, The Strokers, Tyler the Creator, Jamie XX, Disclosure, Megan Thee Stallion, Gorillaz, Tame Impala, amongst many others (if I were to write them all downthis article would get too long, you get the gist).
One of the things that make this festival stand out is the fact that it encourages many genres, from alternative, indie, pop to electronic, jazz, the list goes on. There is a bit of everything for everyone. And they have the best up-and-coming and established artists representing these genres. This is a festival that you can go to with your friends, no matter their taste in music, and have a blast with the quality of music.
The Venue
The killer lineup must be one of the main factors that has made this festival peak to the top; but we are sure the location, Parc del Forum in the beautiful city of Barcelona has also helped. A public park located in the waterfront with modern architectural constructions that do not leave you feeling indifferent. All of this while you enjoy a city that is known for its distinguished buildings, culture and mouthwatering cuisine.
The festival breaks down into two main sections, Weekend 1 & Weekend 2. Although most of the festival will take place at the Parc Del Forum, there will also be many concerts happening in venues of Barcelona. They are open for ticket holders to attend. Some of them are even free for the public.
