For many folks, October is their favorite month for a very simple reason: Halloween. As fun as Halloween is, however, it’s always such a hassle to look for a costume, get all of your friends together, try to figure out which party to go to. I had previously heard about Elrow but didn’t get to experience a taste of their production until they took over the Sunday School stage at Electric Zoo back in 2016. When I stood in the middle of the crowd not being able to stop smiling or moving my feet I realized why Elrow has built such an acclaimed prestige. The huge difference between attending an Elrow party than a normal DJ set, or another party for that manner, is that Elrow goes out of their way and truly invest in the production of the party. The animation, party gifts, and whole atmosphere transforms into the greatest celebration whenever they organize an event. You actually have to try really hard not to have a good time.
Horroween is, of course, no exception. Every Elrow party consists of people dressed up, employees wearing animal costumes, stilts, and really investing themselves fully in the theme of the party in order to depict the world each party demands. So, one could say Halloween is Elrow’s dream party, since it is a dressing up holiday. I can say for a fact that the gory atmosphere, spooky decorations, and incredible fun will not be absent in this +12 hour party.
