Pottery Barn Kids debuted their first nursery collection created by stylists and design team Emily Current and Meritt Elliot available Jan. 23.
The Emily & Meritt for Pottery Barn Kids collection consists of 80 pieces including furniture, bedding, lighting, decor and storage. All of the pieces are separated in to two themes. The duo explained in a statement, “We designed two rooms, one in soft pinks and golds, and the other, a bold black and white. We mixed classic elements like scattered stars, circus stripes and graphic hearts with touches of shiny gold and lived-in denim — and added whimsical details throughout: an arrow serves as the base of a floor lamp and a woven hamper boasts kitty ears.”
Each element of the collection is aimed to be functional while also blending in to the design of the rest of the house. “With our first nursery collection for Pottery Barn Kids, we wanted to evoke an environment that felt sweet and playful for baby, while remaining stylish and relevant for parents,” the two said. The collection includes several animal themed items as well as sleek black and white designs and travel themes.
The collection is available online and in stores on Jan. 23. Pottery Barn Kids stores across the nation will be holding special events on the date. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. guests will be treated to free registry, 10 percent off of their purchase, excluding furniture, an Emily and Meritt inspired goodie bag and a chance to win a $500 gift card to the store.
